DUBAI – Indian nationals currently residing in the United Arab Emirates can submit applications for passport and visa services 7 days a week, including Sunday.
In order to operate seamlessly, the center of Indian outsourced service provider BLS International Service Ltd will provide passport and visa related services to all without any rest days.
To help the Indian diaspora, three centers in Dubai and Sharjah will be open 24/7 from January 22. The only exceptions to working days are local government holidays and Sundays during Ramadan (23 March to 22 June).
It has been decided that for Sundays, applicants can only submit online completed applications with required supporting documents by appointment between 9am and 3pm, except for Tatkaal cases, emergencies (medical, death), senior citizens, who Can be submitted on foot.Applicants have been asked to use the link to make an appointment with BLS here.
In terms of operating facilities throughout the week, Consul General of India Dr. Aman Puri reiterated his commitment to the well-being and benefits of expatriates and confirmed that the outsourced service provider for passport and visa services has been operating full-time throughout the week since last week.
The professional service provider manages visa and passport-related administrative and support services for its client governments and diplomatic missions, and operates in more than 20 countries, according to the Khaleej Times.
The Consul General also stressed that lawyers maintain an open door policy and that any Indian national can visit the facility to register their grievances on any matter without appointment or prior notice.
