The torchbearer of Indian golf, Jeev Milkha Singh, was recognized for his achievements and received the prestigious Dubai Golden Visa-becoming the first professional golfer to receive this honor.
The 49-year-old player has a long-term relationship with Dubai and has participated in several games. During the 2001 Dubai Desert Classic, he set a world record at the time. He completed four rounds of putting, only 94 putts, and finished sixth.
Singh has won four championships on the European Tour, four championships on the Japanese Golf Tour, six championships on the Asian Tour, and a 10-year “gold card” because he is an elite Professional athletes.
