Former India batsman and Gunners outfielder Suresh Reina was dismissed for a duck in the second match of the 2022 T10 League against Abu Dhabi at the Sheikh Abu Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Reina was caught at the long fence in order to engage Abu Dhabi leg spinner Peter Hazaglu in his second innings delivery.
However, a fine innings – his skipper Nicholas Pooran batting 33 for 77 – helped the Gladiators to a colossal 134/6 aggregate over 10 overs.

As for Raina, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in September this year, he decided to make his debut in the T10 league earlier this month by confirming his signing with the tournament’s defending champions.
Indian players in Abu Dhabi T10 League
Apart from Raina, former Indian non-rotational player Harbhajan Singh (Delhi Bulls), all-rounder Stuart Binny (New York Strikers), walker Abhimanyu Mithun (Northern Warriors) and S Sreesanth (Bengals) will also be featured at Abu Zabi T10 in the match of League 2022.
Apart from the aforementioned big names in Indian cricket, Nav Pabreja (New York Strikers) and Indian-born Ayaan Khan (Delhi Bulls) are also part of the league.
While Binny missed the New Strikers Playing XI spot in tonight’s tournament opener against the Bangla Tigers, right-arm pacer Pabreja was also included but leaked as many as 42 points in his two Overs .

For those who don’t know, Pabreja has played for the Delhi Under-16 national team in the past, while Ayaan Khan is now playing for the Oman national team after earlier representing Madhya Pradesh on the domestic tour.
The likes of Harbhajan, Abhimanyu Mithun, Binny and Sreesanth also recently played in the inaugural season of the Legends Cricket League this September.
