“After lunch, I take a nap before reading and playing dominoes. I am very grateful for this medical home. I am well cared for,” she said.

On Father’s Day, June 21, seniors at the Sharjah Nursing Home gathered in the main hall to celebrate the occasion.
“The residents came together. Nursing home staff celebrated the occasion with a cake for the male residents, who were fathers and grandfathers.
Eid al-Adha is also celebrated at home.
“We make sure to mark special days at home. It’s how we connect and socialize,” Mohamed added.
Occasions always bring a special joy and atmosphere to the home, she said. “We get together and talk to each other. It’s always nice here.”
