Currently, in the Mangistau region, Kazakhstan, the emirates company “International Center of Climate Change Technologies (ICCCT)” LTD is successfully testing an innovative, environmentally friendly ionization technology recognized by WMO for increasing atmospheric precipitation to fight drought.
Climate change is a matter of concern, and effective measures will help to prevent catastrophic events in the coming future. Furthermore, certain technologies, initiatives, and strategies are developed to solve such issues to some extent.
In recent years, drought has led to an ecological disaster in the region and has caused acute water scarcity and massive loss of livestock and social unrest.
The territory of the Mangistau region belongs to the arid regions with the most difficult meteorological conditions and a sharply continental windy climate with a minimum amount of precipitation. Furthermore, the region faces severe drought and heat.
However, despite the very difficult meteorological conditions in the region, the effect was significant. After all, tackling this problem needs significant measures that the International Center of Climate Change Technologies is taking.
Heavy rains are noticeable throughout the region. Rivers and reservoirs fill up quickly. In addition to that, the experiment was a success and helped solve the region’s drought issues extensively.
International Center of Climate Change Technologies is a global initiative that develops promising and reliable solutions to global climatic issues. Furthermore, they aim to reduce climate risks and are even promoting climate-oriented services. Their initiatives are showing fruitful results.
