The UAE celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day – ‘Yoga for Humanity’ with great enthusiasm.
The Indian Embassy in the UAE organized three yoga sessions in partnership with the Louvre Museum, Dubai Harbor and ADNEC. These activities follow the yoga protocol provided by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and are led by Heartful Yoga Instructors.
IDY 2023 will be held at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi on July 17. The event was headed by the Heartful Yoga team, and a total of 300 yoga enthusiasts participated. The Indian Ambassador to the UAE and the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) of the Indian Embassy were also present.
Another high-profile event will be the Ocean Yoga Ring on June 21 at Mina Rashid in Dubai Harbor to mark International Day of Yoga (IDY). The initiative aims to showcase yoga’s inclusivity and its ability to connect people across countries and oceans. The Indian Navy and Merchant Marines organized joint yoga etiquette demonstrations in ports and ships of friendly countries in different seas.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, was also the guest of honor at the event. The Indian Navy ship INS Brahmaputra was docked in Minarashid with more than 200 sailors on board. Get active in the IDY 2023 celebrations. As per the agreement, the Yoga Instructor of Heartful Heart conducted the yoga class, and some members of the Yoga Heartful Team were on board of Brahmaputra to guide and practice yoga with the sailors. The chairman of DP World and India’s ambassador to the UAE were also present.
On June 21, IDY 2023 was held in ADNEC, Abu Dhabi. The event was hosted by Heartful Yoga Instructor and Dr. Lokesh of Burjeel Holdings. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, also attended the event as the guest of honor.
