What is a green list?

The Abu Dhabi “green list” countries are a series of low-risk international territories that are believed to bring Covid-19 into the emirate. The list was compiled through a comprehensive analysis of epidemic management standards, covering areas including infection and vaccination rates, government policies, entry requirements, and testing protocols.

The green list will be updated regularly based on international health developments. To be on the list, destinations must meet a strict set of health and safety standards.

This means that passengers arriving from these destinations will not have to go through the quarantine period, but must undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport.

Tourist corridor

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (the last dose of vaccine was given at least 28 days before travel), you do not need to be quarantined when traveling between Abu Dhabi and the following countries/regions: Bahrain, Greece, Serbia, and Seychelles you.

Arriving in Abu Dhabi from a green list country

Individuals who can prove through their Al Hosn app that they have received two doses of the vaccine more than 28 days ago, individuals who arrive at AUH from a green list country only need to self-isolate until they receive a negative result from the following countries and arrive at the PCR test. But now they don’t have to do follow-up tests on the 6th and 12th day, they only need to do the test on the 6th day (except the test on arrival).

For individuals who have not been vaccinated, those who have received only one or two doses less than 28 days ago-there are still no quarantine requirements for entry from a green list country (except for the time before the PCR test result is negative on arrival), But you will need to perform further PCR tests on the 6th and 9th days.

What if I go to Abu Dhabi from a destination that is not on the green list or travel corridor?

After the update, vaccinated individuals from non-green list countries now only need to quarantine for 7 days. The PCR test is still required on arrival and on the sixth day.

Those residents and citizens who have received two doses of the approved vaccine more than 28 days before the Al Hosn app will have to quarantine for a full 10 days when arriving from a non-green country and undergo a PCR test on arrival and on the 9th day.

What happens if I enter from Dubai or other emirates

If you fly to another emirate in the UAE, the number of days you spend there will be deducted from any necessary quarantine in Abu Dhabi. When attempting to enter Abu Dhabi, you must declare your flight date at the border, and you must proceed with any further quarantine as instructed and perform PCR testing as described above.

If you recently traveled from a non-green country, you may be denied entry.
