Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ronen Levy led an Israeli delegation to Abu Dhabi for the first face-to-face summit of the I2U Forum comprising Israel, India, the US and the UAE.
The group came together last July as a follow-up to the Abraham Accords, when they announced the partners would collaborate on water, energy, transport, space, health and food security.
The summit starts tomorrow.
Israel’s 40-member delegation included representatives of private sector companies as well as officials from the Ministries of Economy, Energy, Agriculture, Health and Transport, as well as members of the Israel Innovation Authority, Export Institute, Manufacturers Association, Water Authority and Space Agency.
Space agency officials will lead a new space program at the summit to study ways to combat climate change.
