DUBAI – Istituto Marangoni, one of the world’s leading fashion and design schools, officially opened its campus today in the Dubai International Financial District. Giuseppe Finocchiaro, Consul General of Italy in Dubai, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony; Marwa El Ettr, Head of Business and Cultural Affairs, Consulate General of Italy in Dubai; Roberto La iacona, Dean of Istituto Marangoni Dubai; Elena Marinoni, Education Director of Istituto Marangoni Dubai, and academic and Other representatives of the management team.
Istituto Marangoni Dubai will offer a range of three-year undergraduate studies including Interior Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Fashion and Accessory Design, Fashion Business and Fashion Styling and Creative Direction, as well as specialist and short courses covering different aspects of Fashion and Design industry. Incoming classes for new students will begin on September 19th.

Located at Gate 8 of DIFC, Istituto Marangoni Dubai offers students a modern and stylish environment with all industry and sector specific facilities including drawing and sketching rooms, pattern and cutting rooms, fabric library, fashion and design book library and an outdoor terrace. The prestigious 1,050-square-meter campus was directed by Italian architect Giulio Cappellini, who also designed the school’s furniture, including chairs, tables and sofas.
70% of Istituto Marangoni’s teaching staff are Italians, and others are locally recruited, offering students an innovative “learning by doing” teaching method that blends traditional academic research with creative hands-on activities.
Thanks to its international network of eight renowned schools in Milan, Florence, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Miami, students also have the opportunity to start their studies in one school and choose to study in another through cross-school study School is done.
