ITBA participates in Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler of the Al Dhafra region, the Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority (ITBA), the second largest protected area in Saudi Arabia, is participating in the The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), taking place from 26 September to 2 October 2022, is the largest exhibition of its kind in the region.

The ITBA Pavilion, one of the largest at ADIHEX, highlights the cultural and historical elements of the reserve’s local community, including artisans, beekeepers and yarn tent specialists. The pavilion, in collaboration with the Saudi Geological Survey, showcases certain artifacts unearthed in the Greater Nafoud area.

The pavilion uses cutting-edge technology to provide a rich and immersive experience for visitors and high-quality guests. The pavilion represents the historic reserve and showcases the Zubaydah trail and its Al-Araesh pond, as well as the historic Lena market, one of the oldest in the region, originally built for Saudi Arabia and Iraq Trade between merchants was established nearly 100 years ago. In addition to using smart projector technology to show the stars at night in the reserve, the dark sky of the reserve can also be seen. The pavilion also features a digital interactive screen where visitors can book tours of the game reserve and explore future programs and events.
