JA Resorts & Hotels, Dubai’s leading hotel group, has announced the appointment of Jason Kruse as General Manager of JA Manafaru, Haa Alif Atoll, the northernmost private island resort in the Maldives.
With over 20 years of experience in the international hospitality and tourism industry, Jason began his career in key senior leadership roles across a range of hospitality properties in his native Australia.
Most recently, Jason served as General Manager of Amira Maldives Resort and Residences, where he breathed new life into the luxury resort’s guest experience for three and a half years. Prior to joining Amilla, he led the pre-opening team for the sustainability-focused Six Senses hotel in Fiji. Other Maldives experiences include Universal Resort Maldives’ Kurumba Island, where Jason worked for six years. He has also served as General Manager of Casa Del Mar in Langkawi, Malaysia and Breeze Resort in Bali, Indonesia.
