Los Angeles Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson watched from the sidelines for the first time in nearly two years on Friday night as his team hosted the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6 of their first-round playoff series .
The 86-year-old Nicholson hasn’t returned to his usual seat at the Lakers’ downtown arena since last season’s opener in October 2021, but the three-time Academy Award winner has brought him back He has his son in the prestigious position near the opposing bench.
Nicholson was a fixture in the final half-century of Lakers history, cheering on the team through several successful eras after earning a season ticket in 1970.
