CHARLOTTE, N.C. — UFC heavyweight Jailton Almeida already has his first main event berth and is looking forward to his next challenge with a name and a possible city in mind.
“UFC Abu Dhabi in October or UFC Brazil. At UFC Charlotte on Saturday, Almeida quickly defeated No. 9 heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik, who finished the fight by submission in the first round. Even if Almeida’s fame preceded him, it was the biggest win of his career so far.
