S Jashankar will visit the United Arab Emirates (
United Arab Emirates) from 31 August to 2 September to co-chair the Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) between the two countries and hold a strategic dialogue with UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan meeting.
Jashankar and UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan will represent their respective countries at the 14th India-UAE Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) and the 3rd India-UAE Strategic Dialogue.
“These meetings will provide an opportunity for the two ministers to review the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
India and UAE and regional and global developments. During the visit, EAM will also meet with other Emirati dignitaries,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
In 2022, India and the UAE will have regular high-level interactions.

Prime Minister Modi A virtual summit was held with the two leaders of the UAE President, during which the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed and a vision statement was adopted. The two leaders also attended the virtual I2U2 summit on July 14. I2U2 – Virtual summit in India, Israel, UAE and US expected to serve as
West Asian Quadrilateral.
Both India and the UAE are committed to advancing partnership ties in a number of areas including trade, investment, traditional and renewable energy, food security, health, skills development, education, culture, defence, space, consular issues and people-to-people exchanges. These areas were also discussed at the official level during the JCM Subcommittee meeting on 23-24 August 2022.
