Jamie Lynn Spears publicly opposed her parents because she allegedly tried to force her to have an abortion when she became pregnant at the age of 16.
As Jamie Lynn explained in her forthcoming book “Things I Should Say”, it was a difficult pregnancy, claiming that her parents had spared no effort in trying to hide her pregnancy from the public.
TMZ After Jamie Lynn told her parents and management that she was pregnant, she obtained fragments from the book detailing the events of 2007. For those of you who remember, Jamie Lynn was the star of Nick’s International Children’s Channel “Zoe 101” at the time.
In one of the passages, Jamie Lynn said that people in her inner circle, “…Come to my room to try to convince me that having a baby at this stage of my life is a terrible idea…’This will kill your career. You are just too young. You don’t know what you are doing. You can take some pills. We can help you solve this problem… I know a doctor… Everyone around me wants to make this’problem’ go away.”
Jamie Lynn said boldly: “…everyone is convinced that terminating the contract is the best course of action.”
Jamie Lynn added that her mobile phone was taken to prevent her from communicating with people outside the camp, hoping that news of her pregnancy would not be accidentally leaked.
Jamie Lynn claimed that she was not even allowed to tell her sister Britney that she has a child, and she said, “I need her more than ever. She cannot help me when I am most vulnerable… .. To this day, the hurt cannot tell my sister that she still lingers.”
She said that she had a dispute with her father Jamie over the adoption issue, but in the end her team reached an exclusive agreement with OK! Magazine to break the story and provide them with the first picture of her baby.
In addition, Jamie Lynn said that she and her mother went to a cabin on the east side, which she thought was Connecticut, and hid until the article came out. The two spent Thanksgiving there together, where “Mum dressed disappointment like her favorite jacket.”
The book is scheduled to be published in January 2022.
