Tokyo is constantly changing and developing, and keeping up with all the new and upcoming attractions can be a bit overwhelming. There’s a lot to look forward to in 2023, including new teamLab Borderless in central Tokyo, Harry Potter Attractions, and this entertainment hub in Shinjuku’s lively Kabukicho district.called Tokyu Kabukicho Towerthe new building will be Japan’s largest hotel and entertainment complex, housing a movie theater, two luxury hotels, a concert venue, an entertainment food hall, and more.
To call the space huge is an understatement. The skyscraper has 48 floors, plus five basements and a penthouse. Here’s a sneak peek of some of the upcoming facilities at this Kabukicho entertainment complex.
live concert hall Zepp Tokyo Earlier this year, Odaiba closed its doors, but it found a new home at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. Basement 1 to 4 will be dedicated to the new music space, with a capacity of approximately 1,500 people, the largest of any live music venue in Shinjuku.
The second floor is a entertainment canteen, a fusion of food and music in a festival-themed atmosphere. Restaurant tenants have yet to be announced, but you can expect ten food and beverage vendors serving regional Japanese cuisine. The food hall will also feature a stage, DJ booth, disco ball, karaoke system and LED lights.
On the third floor you will find Bandai Namco Amusement CenterThere will be more food options, as well as activity and experience spaces featuring popular anime, manga and video game characters from the Bandai Namco family.
There will be more entertainment options on the fourth and fifth floors, including a high-tech attraction by Sony Music and a wellness area with a gym, private sauna and pool terrace.
The sixth to eighth floors will be home Milanza Theatera cutting-edge performance stage that can accommodate about 900 people.
The ninth and tenth floors will be 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku There are eight screens in total. The movie theater is said to have Shinjuku’s first panoramic ScreenX.
The new tower will be home to two new luxury hotels: Shinjuku Grove Hotel From the 18th floor to the 38th floor and Tokyo Bellusta Located on floors 39 to 47. Directly below the hotel on the 17th floor is the restaurant, bar and terrace. Hotel Bellusta Tokyo is especially stunning as the rooms are located 170 meters above ground level. The hotel also has its own restaurant and spa, as well as a three-story atrium with jaw-dropping views of Tokyo.
