The show follows a mean-spirited legendary Las Vegas stand-up comedian (Smart) and her brilliant but socially poor writer (Ein Binder) reinventing herself, leaving the 71-year-old former The “Designing Women” star has won two of her five Emmys. Einbinder told Variety that production on Season 3 will resume “not too long from now,” but there is no start date.
