Built in the 1960s, Al Batin Airport has been the main gateway to Abu Dhabi for many years. Since 2008, the airport has been operating as a business jet facility with a focus on fast and efficient turnaround of business jets, with no holding patterns or time limits for takeoff and landing, and short taxi times. Centrally located, the hotel offers easy access to Abu Dhabi’s major financial, tourist and entertainment destinations.

Passengers traveling through Jetex Abu Dhabi Airport can look forward to a seamless travel experience, including multiple spacious private lounges in the VIP and VVIP terminals, elegant hospitality and luxurious Jetex-branded amenities. The secure ramp and hangar parking facilities can accommodate up to 50 aircraft and provide a wide range of ground handling services.
The agreement was unveiled at a signing ceremony at Al Bateen Airport, signed by HE Eng, General Manager and CEO of Al Bateen Airport. Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri and Jetex founder and CEO Adel Mardini.

In 2022, the expansion of Al Bateen Executive Airport will be completed, including the resurfacing and widening of the existing 3.2km runway to accommodate wide-body aircraft, as well as upgraded ground lighting, enhanced signage and landscaping to meet the highest level of security, in compliance with regulations and certifications. Over the coming months, Jetex will redesign and further upgrade the FBO facility to ensure the airport continues to exceed passenger and crew expectations and is equipped to meet the industry’s current and future sustainability requirements.
