Top UAE developers Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) and Lead Development have broken ground on Jubail Terraces, a low-rise mixed-use community development in Abu Dhabi featuring 242 apartments and other key amenities.

Set amongst some of the UAE’s most beautiful landscapes in Souk Al Jubail Village, surrounded by mangroves and wildlife, the Jubail Terraces apartments will be located in a series of low-impact blocks with a total of 23 retail units on the ground floor of each building .

Built with attractive neutral interiors, the project is named after the expansive terraces that allow occupants to enjoy the natural surroundings and vistas, the developer said.

In addition to properties ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplexes, the residential community will feature retail space, landscaped communal gardens, car parking and fitness facilities, providing residents and visitors with a wide range of recreational and recreational opportunities. lifestyle opportunity.

Together with the Marina, Jubail Club, landscaping and other amenities, these features will create the heart of Jubail Island, they added.

Construction contracts worth AED327 million (US$89 million) have been awarded to Construction General Contractors (CGCH) for the Jubail Terraces neighbourhood, which went on sale in February.

“We are delighted to formally sign the contract with CGCH to create our newest and most accessible community to date – Jubail Terraces,” said Mounir Haidar, Managing Partner of LEAD Development, at the groundbreaking ceremony held today (April 13).

As the UAE’s main contractor, it will also be responsible for all related facilities, while global consultancy Atkins has been in an oversight role, he said.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials including Mounir Haidar, Managing Partner of LEAD Development, Abdulla Al Shamsi, Director of JIIC Corporation, and CGCH Chief Executive Officer Wahbi Mohamed El Wardani and Managing Director Mohammed Ahmad Dib.

“With the market’s continued demand for uniquely designed and high-quality housing, the signing of the contract further strengthens JIIC’s commitment to develop a world-class landmark destination that is synonymous with luxury living and sustainable development,” Haidar pointed out.

He added that the new low-rise and low-impact apartment building will be completed by March 2025, offering more choices and flexibility to potential residents of one of Jubail Island’s premium and desirable neighborhoods.
