John Stamos couldn’t imagine filming the “Full House” reboot without Bob Saget.
The actor – who played Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom – died in January at the age of 65, and John admitted he was reluctant to reshoot after the death of his former co-star.
John, 59 – who plays the role of Jesse Casopolis on the show – told E! News: “It wouldn’t be the same without him. Something missing, a piece missing.
“We did a lot of tributes. I did that Netflix tribute, and I thought, it was beautiful. Every chance I got, I would talk about him. If we were really quiet, we could hear him now complaining that it wasn’t enough that I didn’t talk about him. .
“We’ll keep paying tribute to him, but I don’t know what ‘full house’ is.”
John recently claimed his former co-star “has no idea how much he loves”.
The actor also admitted to being shocked by his friend’s death.
He said: “When he’s gone, you know, it’s like the tsunami of love this guy got that blew us all away. That’s the only time I’ve been jealous of him because it’s like, wow. But the rascal is ,he does not know.
“I don’t think he knows how much he loves him. I wish you could bring him back and sit him down…you know, read everything.”
John also joked that he can still hear his former co-stars “complaining” from above.
He said: “I’m sure he saw everything. Because if I’m quiet in heaven, sometimes I’ll hear him complain. He’s like, ‘What, why are you saying that, John?'”
