John Stamos still weeps over the death of his friend Bob Saget.
The 59-year-old actor, who starred in the late comic “Full House,” added that he couldn’t believe the one-year anniversary of his passing is approaching.
He told Page Six on Monday (12.12.22): “I cried so many times about it. All I can do is keep talking about him and keep his memory alive.”
John, who shares his four-year-old son Billy with wife Kaitlyn McHugh, added that he, too, grieves over Bob’s inability to “see my son being funny”.
Bob died after a suspected fall in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando on January 9 of this year.
Hours after news of his death, John tweeted: “I’m devastated. I’m devastated. I’m in complete shock.
“I’ll never have a friend like him again. I love you so much, Bobby.”
John also told Page Six that he can relate to his latest role’s vices
“Open Book” by Amazon Freevee, inspired by Jessica Simpson’s memoir.
He played a “kinda fucking rock star” on the show who was addicted to “drinks, women and drugs” for years until he met a young singer “and we ended up making some music together and teaching everyone else about life and death”.
John admits: “I’m close to that. Seven and a half years ago, I straightened up, but I’ve definitely met a lot of people like that since then. It’s sad…but this show shows us how *that* ****.”
