Johnson Controls Releases Updated, Future-Proof BAS

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, announced a new update to Metasys, its industry-leading building automation system (BAS).

Matasys provides the foundation for fully optimized building management. Metasys’ intuitive design integrates HVAC and non-HVAC systems into a single platform to maximize operator efficiency, the company said.

Metasys 12.0 Middle East and Africa (MEA) release is designed to increase team productivity, reduce risk and improve construction efficiency and sustainability.

We’ve also introduced BACnet/SC compliance, an updated industry interoperability standard that we helped design, enabling Customers can easily keep up to date with the latest IT security requirements.”
