Julianne Hough thanks Len Goodman for being “the face of ballroom dancing”.
The 78-year-old star recently announced he was leaving “Dancing With the Stars” to spend more time with his family in the UK, and Julianne has now heaped praise on the TV “legend”.
Julianne, 34, who joined Dancing With the Stars in 2007 – says: “I’ve known him since I was 10.
“He just revolutionized the ballroom dancing narrative to make it what it is today, and we look to Len for all his advice and wisdom. I just want to say thank you to him for being the face of ballroom dancing for all of us.”
Julianne also said she would love to join the show’s jury with her brothers Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
She told E! News: “That would be amazing.
“I’d love to go back to the ballroom anytime because that’s my family. It’s been a lot of fun – I’ve gone through so many iterations as a dancer and then as a judge and who knows what’s going to happen next, But I love that show. I love that family so much, so you never know!”
Earlier this month, Lane announced he was leaving “Dancing With the Stars” after 17 years.
“This will be my last season judging ‘Dancing With the Stars,'” the TV star explained.
“I’ve been on the show since 2005 and it’s a pleasure to be part of such a great show, but I’ve decided to spend more time with my grandson and family in the UK.”
