Jumeirah Group, a global luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Aaron Kaupp as Regional Vice President of Jumeirah Group and General Manager of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, its latest iconic destination.
In his new role, Kaupp will oversee all aspects of the new lifestyle resort, which will include an avant-garde hotel, exclusive residences, a superyacht marina, and a wealth of unique dining and lifestyle experiences.
His appointment will be based on his extensive background in luxury hospitality and three years of experience with the group as Regional Vice President Nordics and General Manager Jumeirah Carlton Towers. During his tenure at the flagship London hotel in the heart of stylish Knightsbridge, following the largest refurbishment in the hotel’s 60-year history, he led the hotel’s successful re-opening and repositioning as an iconic landmark and beacon of modern classic luxury.
Taking place at the height of the pandemic, the 17-storey building has been completely remodeled to offer larger accommodation spaces, a new state-of-the-art The Peak health club and spa, and London’s largest naturally lit swimming pool, Al Mare – A Purpose Italian restaurant, iconic lobby bar and lounge, and a beautiful event facility filled with natural light overlooking Cadogan Gardens.

He is also a member of the European Association of Hotel Managers.

The new resort includes a futuristic superyacht-inspired hotel with 387 rooms and suites and four penthouse suites, as well as 99 private residences set in lush landscaped gardens. With panoramic views of the sparkling Arabian Sea from all hotel rooms, the statement destination will also include an 82-berth superyacht marina and signature culinary and leisure experiences.
