Kanye West aspires to make YZY an inclusive brand.

The 45-year-old rap star recently ended his partnership with Gap, and Kanye has now outlined his long-term ambitions for his fashion label.

Kanye – who legally changed her name to Ye – explained: “Our point of view, our thinking is that in YZY and Donda, there are no undesirables. That’s why I went to Gap. And that’s why I brought Demna s reason [a designer] with me. Say ‘well, Demna’s cut is the top of the line Paris has to offer. Paris is at the top of the fashion world. So let’s bring Paris to the people. ‘”

When asked why the collaboration didn’t work out, Kanye told Vogue Business: “They let us do a T-shirt that cost $200. Then they took our color palette and made a shape that would fit someone I think “The office idea is at the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. I think that’s civil rights. “

The chart-topping star then suggested he plans to run YZY as a vertically integrated business.

“We just bought our fourth factory in California,” he added.

Kanye recently slammed Gap and another of his partners, Adidas, for failing to deliver on their promise to build “permanent stores” for their businesses.

The rapper shared his plans for the brand, writing on social media: “I will buy land and/or buildings. Then we will open in every state and then internationally.

“Anyone with 10+ years of retail experience ready to change the world post your Instagram username or store location in the comments and we’ll find you.

“I signed with both Adidas and Gap because the contract said they were going to have permanent stores, and neither company did that even though I saved both companies at the same time. (sic)”
