Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton Had a very close relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II. Kate Middleton first met the monarch at the wedding of Prince William’s cousin Peter Phillips in 2008.

“Well, I first saw her at Peter and Autumn’s wedding, and there were a lot of other guests, and she was very friendly,” Kate Middleton said afterwards.
“She knew it was a big day and everything was going on with Peter and Autumn. She wanted to see Kate for a while, so it was great that she came over to say hi. We chatted for a while and got on really well,” Prince William Speaking at Kate Middleton’s meeting with Queen Elizabeth II.

“She said Her Majesty was not only a wonderful lady, but a very good friend, a confidant,” Neil Sean said.
“[She was] When she has serious doubts, she can really lean on and chat with at any given moment because I believe she will play such an important role,” the expert added.

Kate Middleton became emotional after walking into a room and smelling Queen Elizabeth’s perfume, the royal expert claims.
