Warner Music Groupof Erica The entertainment company ran two major promotions within the Label Group’s marketing arm.
Katie Robinson has been named senior vice president and Adam Ruehmer has been promoted to senior director and head of digital marketing, effective immediately.
Robinson and Ruehmer will be based in Los Angeles and will both report to Elektra co-presidents Mike Easterlin and Greg Nader.
Since joining Elektra in 2019, Robinson has overseen activities on the label’s roster of artists, which includes 21 Pilots, Avril Lavigne, Maisie Peters, jxdn, A Day To Remember, Alec Benjamin, Fitz and The Tantrums and Flor.
Ruehmer comes to Elektra for the first time in 2021 after seven years at the sister brand Warner Recordsand has since led digital marketing campaigns for Brandi Carlile, Alec Benjamin, Avril Lavigne, 21 Pilots, Gojira and more.
Katie Robinson joined Elektra Entertainment in 2019 as Vice President of Marketing.The appointment marks her return to Warner Music Group, where she previously worked with Atlantic and fueled by ramen Promoted to Senior Marketing Director from 2006 to 2013.
Before joining Elektra, she was Head of Global Marketing at Red Bull Records, where she built and led the brand’s marketing, digital and e-commerce teams. Before that, Robinson spent three years at Interscope overseeing marketing for The 1975, Madonna and more.
Started her career at Atlantic/Fueled By Ramen where she helped launch and build Bruno Mars, Paramore, 21 Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, fun., etc.
Adam Ruehmer was named Elektra Entertainment’s Digital Marketing Director in 2021 after more than seven years at Warner Music, where he developed digital strategies for Linkin Park, Michael Bublé, Disturbed, My Chemical Romance, Mastodon and more.
His work on the interactive website for the 20th anniversary of Linkin Park’s Hyrbid Theory received a Webby nomination.
Ruehmer started his career in Linkin Park, overseeing digital marketing as well as live fan activation and social content while the band was on tour.
