She explained how COVID and double lung pneumonia affected her, and that it was one of the most unbearable and painful experiences in her life. Kelly explained that she had “long-term COVID” and she had to learn how to relearn because her lungs had double pneumonia, so she had to use her lungs to fight it. She detailed how she had to learn how to use her lungs again to restore their maximum capacity, and her left lung was damaged and her right lung was severely atrophied.
This nearly 13-minute video also talked about how Kelly spent four weeks on the oxygen machine. If you remember, in September, she first revealed that she needed breathing help. However, now she can breathe by herself. The singer took time to reiterate that despite her family’s claims, she was not missing when she was discharged from the hospital.
