A high school in Kentucky is being investigated by its school district, because the photos surfaced, male students wearing bras and underwear to male faculty (including the principal) dancing.

The school district said the incident at Hazard Hazard High School in Kentucky was part of the school’s back-to-school activity earlier this week. CBS News. According to reports, photos of the event were initially posted on the “Dangerous High School Track and Field” Facebook page. Express Magazine, But the post has been deleted from the website.

The photos were widely shared on social media as part of a “men’s beauty pageant,” which showed teenage boys wearing women’s underwear and dancing for male school staff. The adults in the photo seemed to applaud and laugh.

Among the staff photographed next to a dancing student was the school principal Donald “Happy” Mobellini, who is also the mayor of the city. Other photos show female students wearing homemade owl uniforms and carrying beer mugs.

Legend Goins, a senior at the school, told the CBS affiliate WKYT The incident “does not imply any sexual activity.”

“This is just a joke, so we can get more laughs,” Goins told the radio station.

“I think everyone is too much,” student John Maxlov said. “Every year until this year, I will say they are as vulgar as you said.”

In a statement posted on the school district’s website, the school district’s director Sondra Combs stated that the photos show “improper student-led activities” and that the school district is responsible for solving this problem.

“We worked hard to cultivate students’ creativity, but unfortunately, we did too much this time,” Combs said. “… The back to school activities were planned to celebrate the students, faculty, and the school community. Everything was designed to be fun and kind, however, these activities did not go as expected.”

Combs added that during the incident, the school’s dress code was not followed, and in order to avoid any future problems, “the suitability of the clothing will be reviewed.”

The school district stated that it took “appropriate disciplinary action” after the incident and would not disclose information about what actions it took.

The school district stated that it is forming a student activity committee to “review all student-led activities to prevent any such skits in the future.”

In addition, students and faculty members should be trained in policies and procedures to “ensure that this situation does not happen again.”

“As a teachable moment, we will provide social media training for our students and faculty,” Combs said. “In today’s society, students must understand that any content posted online is permanent! It is publicly displayed for everyone in the world to view and share. We don’t want to see a young child’s reckless behavior haunting a child’s life.”

“Our school district would like to apologize for the activities reported by the media, and we regret the development of this situation,” Combs continued. “This is not the type of incident that usually occurs at Hazard High School. We sincerely apologize for any embarrassment caused to our school community.”
