Stop and think – we’re officially in June, which means we’re halfway through the year. Do you believe? All I can say is that I’m glad we have six months left in the year to make our resolutions. There’s a lot to look forward to this month, including Pride Month – a reminder to all of us that love should always be celebrated. To all the dads out there, we thank you on Father’s Day and every day. Here at Oprah Daily, we also like to have fun during some of the holidays, like National Best Friends Day on June 8th and National Selfie Day on June 21st, so maybe this is the year to mark the month of selfies with your best friends  ?
I have a lot to look forward to this month: three movies I think you must see, a long-awaited album, a new drink for kids, and a fashion line to get you ready to bloom for the long summer. Dive into all of my picks below.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Brooklyn’s favorite spider, Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore), takes us back to the sequel to the spider verse Dare I say, this might even be better than the first one. after his last adventureMiles is both a misunderstood crime-fighting superteen and finds his place among spiders from other universes, such as Miguel O’Hara, voiced by Oscar Isaac, and Daniel Kaluuya. Spider Punk and Spider-Woman, voiced by Ysaray. However, when all the spiders clash over how to defeat a new villain, he’s forced to stand up on his own and redefine what it means to be a hero. This movie is full of twists and lots of jokes. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and ends on a cliffhanger. My prediction is we’ll see more Miles, if you’re curious as to what that might be, stay tuned for the credits! In theaters June 2.
Kelly Clarkson’s Chemical
It’s been a few years since we last heard a Kelly Clarkson album, but Chemical It was worth the wait. A lot has changed in Kelly’s life during those years, including a divorce, which, let me tell you, is not a fun club to be a part of. However, she takes a lot of the resulting emotion and creates something beautiful. I listened to a demo of the album, and it’s soulful, angry, sad, and puts all those emotions into words I wish I had. In one song, “I Hate Love,” she describes how sometimes we “hold on to the good.” Plus, the song features a surprise guest: Steve Martin on the banjo!listen to yourself when the album is released June 23rd.
don’t take it to heart
Jennifer Lawrence’s new film, don’t take it to heart, where she starred and produced, is almost here. She plays Maddie, a woman who finds an unlikely solution to her money problems: She’ll be paid to date (and seduce) eccentric high school student Percy. She’s hired by his helicopter parents, who want Percy to eventually break out of his shell. jennifer says She “died laughing” when she read the script. You can catch this new raunchy comedy on June 23rd.
Hanifa’s spring collection
Back in January I wore this very cute (and I think original) white and turquoise long sleeve ribbed sheath dress by Hanifa CBS Morning, I couldn’t help laughing when I saw This segment of Sherri Shepherd’s talk show She joked about wearing the same one!No, it’s not an episode of “B*tch Stole My Look” because we all wear it well, which is why I love Hanifa – it looks good Everyone. Anifa Mvuemba just launched her new Spring/Summer collection and it’s amazing. Anifa, Founder, Designer and CEO of Hanifa says the series is “A trip in full bloom, a reflection of exotic flowers.” You can shop online for all these beautiful clothes right now.
Raiders of the Lost Ark and Fate Dial
I’ve seen every movie in it indiana jones franchise, so I had to include the newest and last installment, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Fate Dial, In the launch lineup I’m excited about. Harrison Ford is back as your favorite intrepid archaeologist, and at 80, he reprises his iconic role in a new adventure that takes place primarily in 1969.remember when Oprah and I went to Petra earlier this year? Our guide took us to the Treasury and showed us that famous scene Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Yes, where the boulder came out. We actually saw it — just threw it out there. indiana jonesThe final film will be released on June 30.
enjoy nutrition
you all know I love our forever First Lady – Michelle Obama, also known to us as Mrs. Obama. So you might remember when she started Let’s Move! Campaigning while in the White House.now she is a New Co-Founder of PLEZi Nutrition. This is a new venture to help raise a healthier generation of kids.her team came out with a new kid’s drink Contains 75% less sugar than the leading fruit juice and comes in four flavors. This is a good thing. I ordered some for my favorite grandson, Luca, and my favorite daughter, Kirby, noting that it’s just for kids ages 6 and up. So Luca still has a few years to try and I can’t wait.
I want to connect with you! Let me know what you think of my list in the comments below. What should I expect next month?
