King Charles’ former steward thought he would make a “good” monarch.

The 73-year-old royal, who took the throne earlier this month following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth, warned that while his former employee Grant Harold believed Charles would make a great ruler, he warned There will be ‘tough’ times ahead as the Queen is loved all over the world.

Grant said: “He’s an amazing person. He’s like his mother. He’s funny, he’s witty, he’s about tradition.

“…I personally think he’s going to be a good king because I’ve seen him as a person.

“The problem he has is that everybody loves the queen, even if you don’t like the monarchy, everybody loves the queen. I think he’s going to have a tough couple of years and people focus on what he does, how he does it. arrived, and the changes he made.”

While Grant believes Queen Camilla will also receive a lot of scrutiny, he doesn’t think there’s a better person around the King.

He said: “She’s a lovely lady. She’s a really nice lady, she’s a hard worker and she’s also family oriented. I think it’s going to be hard to do, but I think she will well-done.

“She’s been nice to him. They’re a team. They’re an absolute team. They’re best friends.”

The former employee slammed “sad” rumours about Charles, such as his insistence on having his toilet seat occupied everywhere and having someone iron his shoelaces.

He told “Entertainment Tonight”: “Someone said to me, ‘Oh, do you have to carry a toilet seat with you?’ I said, ‘What toilet seat? I’ve never heard of that.

“Why do you want iron shoelaces? It doesn’t even make sense.

“It’s totally fictional and I don’t know where these comments are coming from. I don’t know why they say that. I don’t know what they want out of it because it’s stupid. It’s just sad that people want that [focus on] Something like this. “
