But King Charles always wanted to reconcile with his son and Meghan, friends of Charles and Camilla told The Daily Beast.

Still, Prince Harry was invited to his coronation, which arrived in the UK 24 hours before the event. The Duke of Sussex spent around 28 hours in the country and traveled to California to celebrate his fourth birthday with son Archie shortly after the ceremony.

During the coronation, Prince Harry took a background role at the service at Westminster Abbey, sitting in the third row behind the Dukes of Kent, Gloucester and James, Earl of Wessex, son of the Duke of Edinburgh.
