Kolmar Korea will develop and supply Private Label (PB) cosmetics to the United Arab Emirates Business Point Consultancy Company (UAE BPC), a UAE government-backed trade and business agency.
The company announced on September 7 that UAE BPC Chairman Abdullah Al Maini, UAE BPC CEO Ahmed Al Ali and International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA) Chairman Yoon Joo Taek visited Kolmar Korea and discussed Kolmar Korea provate brand (PB) products in middle East.
At the meeting, the parties discussed details of plans to enter the MENA cosmetics market and conducted sample testing of Kolmar Korea PB products to be launched in the region.
Kolmar Korea will supply leather cosmetics to the Middle East. Considering the dry climate of the region, Kolmar Korea is developing products that focus on moisture supply and skin barrier enhancement. It plans to offer products that comply with UAE BPC requirements, including halal certification of products.
“As the UAE is a hub country in the Middle East, the country’s PB products will help Kolmar Korea enter the Middle East,” said Choi Hyun-kyu, the company’s CEO.
