“Well, I’ll say ‘no’ until they’re 18,” Cavallari said with a laugh. “I mean, look, if they want to be in entertainment at 18, I’m absolutely for it. But until they’re 18, I want them to be just kids.”

Cavallari is mother of three — sons Camden, 10, and Jaxson, 8, and daughter Sailor, 7 — she lives with ex-husband Jay Cutler.

“It’s hard enough in school doing everything you did as a kid, so [I’d say] Focus on that and we’ll cross that bridge when it comes,” she explained, adding, “I just want to keep them kids for as long as possible. “

For Cavallari, she began her television career in high school with appearances on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and later joined the laguna beach derivative series, hills.

When I graduated high school, I moved to L.A., and I just rode the wave,” she recalls. “Right now I’m in Franklin, Tennessee. I gotta say, it’s great to be away from showbiz, but to be in it again when I want to play.”

Cavallari now runs several fashion lines, writes lifestyle guides and cookbooks, and has established herself as an entrepreneur and true businesswoman outside the trappings of the entertainment industry.

“I have three kids and I live a very normal life as much as I can,” she shared. “Everything I do now … I can do most things at home and be a mom first.”
