Lake Tahoe is UAE’s most popular ski resort in new survey

If you’re already looking forward to your winter vacation, a new study identifying the world’s most popular ski resorts may help.

Investigation by Money.co.uk Google search data for nearly every country was analyzed to see where each country’s population would most like to go skiing. Bansko in Bulgaria’s Pirin National Park has become the world’s most popular ski resort, topping 11 countries.

Skiers from Kuwait, Northern Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan and Qatar ranked Bankso as their first choice for its high quality snow even in the poorest seasons famous.

Aspen of the United States and Ober Tauern of Austria ranked second and third respectively.

If you want to ski with A-listers, Aspen (also known as Ajax) is the destination of choice. It has proven particularly popular with people in Belgium, Brazil, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Samoa and San Marino.

Lake Tahoe is the number one ski destination for Emiratis. The area combines natural lakes between California and Nevada with the towering Sierra Nevada mountains. With an average of over 10 meters of snow per year and 300 days of sunshine, it provides all the elements for the perfect ski holiday. Numerous slopes and hundreds of ski lifts take visitors to the various peaks, further cementing its position as the leading location for winter fun.

A range of resorts cater to different budgets, ages and skill levels. You can ski past old growth forests and exhilarating cliffs, or opt for a softer experience with the kids at the snow park. Heavenly is one of Lake Tahoe’s largest and most-visited resorts, and snowboarders lyrical to Northstar in Tahoe.
