Lashana Lynch’s speculation on who will be the next James Bond is ‘not far off the grid’.
The 34-year-old actress has been linked with taking over the lead role in the series after her character Nomi took over the Bond 007 codename in the recent film No Time to Die, but insists she has not noticed any speculation , because she doesn’t believe it comes from official sources.
Asked if she paid attention to the chatter about who would follow Daniel Craig in the iconic role, she said: “I’m not happy with that. I’ve talked to the producers a lot. [the speculation] not from them. It’s just that the world wants to talk about something. “
Rashana would consider returning for a second Bond film, but only “if it makes sense for her character”.

The “Captain Marvel” actress felt “robbed” early in her career, when she struggled to make her big break but never gave up on her ambitions.
“I feel like I’m being denied the ability to showcase my talent because they’re looking for A-listers or white women, or people with more experience, or people who are shorter,” she said.
When asked if she had ever thought about giving up her acting dreams, she added: “I never worry about my career. I keep thinking, ‘I chose to be an actor today. I might want to be an actor tomorrow. Poets or building houses. As long as I’m a creative person for the rest of my life, I’m very happy.”
