Lea Michele’s son ‘cries hysterically’ when he hears her singing.
The 36-year-old actress – who has two-year-old son Ever Leo with husband Zandy Reich – is best known for her role as lead actress Rachel Berry on the hit series “Glee,” but is now in the Broadway musical starred comedian Fanny Bryce in ‘Funny Girl’ and was advised to “incorporate” the little guy more into her work when she returned to the stage.
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she said:[Starting ‘Funny Girl’ was] I went back to work for the first time [since he was born]. I’ve been with him for the past two years, 100%, and now I’m back to work. I’ve been with him for the past two years, 100%, and now I’m back to work. So, my singing coach said, ‘You can try to fit in with what you’re doing, like, try to fit him in so he can be a part of it and you can be less distant from him.The other day, I played some, like, treble and [Ever] Start crying hysterically. I thought, ‘Okay, that’s a big fail! ‘”
The “Scream Queen” actress released her lullaby album “Forever” earlier this year and dedicated the “special and important” collection of songs she first listened to while pregnant with Forever to her son.
She said: “Being a mom is one of the greatest gifts, and I love being Ever’s mom. It’s very special to make my lullaby album as a tribute to him. I want to sing songs that mean something special to me in Behind them. Those songs were the ones I listened to when I first found out I was pregnant, and now it’s amazing to sing them for my son…”
