LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, names Tim Harrison-Jones as new general manager
He will lead the Legoland Dubai theme park, Legoland Water Park and the region’s only Legoland Dubai hotel.
Prior to joining LEGOLAND Resort Dubai, his most recent role was Senior Department Director, overseeing Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park Resort in the UK.
Tim, from the UK, expressed his delight to move to Dubai, recently voted one of the safest cities in the world, and commented on his appointment:
“Moving to Dubai and joining Legoland Dubai Resort, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dubai’s largest theme park destination, is an exciting new chapter that I am eager to kick off,” Tim said.
“I am delighted to be joining the team – renowned for their extensive knowledge and experience as we take Legoland Dubai Resort to the next level as one of the best family-friendly resorts in the region and continue with the recent opening The success of the Legoland Hotel.”
Tim has been married for over 12 years and has two daughters and three grandchildren. During his visit to the UAE in 2020, he completed the RAK Marathon and recently started his training program for the Dubai Marathon in January 2024. – trade arab news agency
