An online game featuring security professionals and students from both countries provided an opportunity to discuss the cybersecurity challenges of critical national infrastructure and the importance of training and education
Leonardo today celebrated the Online Gaming Awards on stage at the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, raising awareness of the importance of a systematic approach and training to address security concerns. The online game is a practical challenge involving cybersecurity professionals from Italian and UAE national strategic infrastructure companies, as well as representatives of universities and research departments.

At the heart of the event is the experience of an online game, organized and managed by Leonardo, a trusted partner of institutions and companies working on the security of the digital ecosystem and the resilience of strategic assets.
Using Leonardo’s cyber range platform, a strategic industrial IT network was virtually replicated, and cyber security operators and students were challenged to defend against simulated cyber attacks. Leonardo’s cyber range system has been selected by the Qatar Computing Institute to train cyber security operators and assess the ability of digital infrastructure to withstand potential cyber attacks.
