Lizzo, Normani, Lil Nas X, Chance The Rapper and others acted as guest voice actors in the revival of The Proud Family

Are you all for this, roommate? One of your favorite animated black families is returning to the TV screen, and Disney+ is getting bigger! The streaming media platform just announced the list of guest stars and new talents of “Proud Family: Loud and Proud”, including some well-known people in the industry.

according to deadline, Renaissance is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original series and will be launched on Disney+ in 2022.The series will have guest starring roles, including Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Chance The Rapper, Normani, Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Marsai Martin, Jaden Smith and more!

‘This is Us’ stars Asante Blackk and A Boogie have also been announced as regulars throughout the series and will play Penny’s boyfriend Kareem and Maya’s gamer brother Francis. Although Disney+ has added some exciting new actors, the streaming platform has not forgotten the OG of this matter! The original actors including Cedric The Entertainer and Carlos Mencia will also return to the series.
