The new Lotus manufacturing facility in Wuhan, China will further accelerate innovation and oversee the production of new electrified lifestyle models for the global market.
Onedamas Motors recently welcomed Matt Windle, Managing Director of Lotus Cars, on his first visit to Dubai. During her visit to the UAE, Windle toured the facility and visited the Adamas Motors showroom. Lotus’ Vision 80 strategy promises businesses to achieve their transformation goals by their 80th birthday in 2028. The plan outlines the strategic direction and includes new product launches, based on three key pillars – transforming the business, innovating the product range and delivering results every year.
Karl Hamer, CEO of Adamas Group, said: “We are honoured to have Matt Windle and senior management from Lotus Cars visiting us in the UAE. This year we are starting to deliver the all-new Emira to our customers. It is a supercar aesthetic with everyday practicality A sporty sports car. The Emira is everything you would expect from a Lotus; extraordinary, beautiful and fun to drive.”
Windle added: “With the support of our partner Adamas Motors, the Middle East has become a key market for Lotus worldwide. With the arrival of the Evija supercar and Emira sports car, I am delighted to open this fantastic new showroom in Dubai, and looking forward to many customers in the region.”
The new Lotus manufacturing facility in Wuhan, China will further accelerate innovation and oversee the production of new electrified lifestyle models for the global market. The new factory complements the existing UK sports car manufacturing and performance facilities in Hessel and Norwich.
