Louisiana judge asked for forgiveness because residents wanted her to resign

One Louisiana State Judge After the viral video captured her using racial slander, she begged for forgiveness. In the video, Lafayette City Court Judge Michelle Odinet (Michelle Odinet) and her family watched their home security video on Saturday, which showed an armed theft in the driveway.In the video, she said: “We have a bed bug. Reggie Thomas, Marshal of Lafayette City, also talked about Judge Audinet’s behavior. I’m sure, People of color will not be able to believe that when they have to stand trial before Judge Audinet, they will be treated fairly and equally,” he said. Senator Gerald Boudreaux also expressed this situation. Anyone serving as a judge should be condemned, offended and unacceptable comments. In addition, he plans to petition the Louisiana Judicial Commission to investigate ethical behavior and actions related to the incident.

Robert Handy, 59, was arrested and charged with two counts of simple burglary in connection with the incident. Judge Odinet confirmed her son’s alleged drug abuse problem and said that his family is taking necessary measures to provide him with help and treatment.
