In cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Cricket has collaborated with the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Louvre Abu Dhabi to launch the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy in the UAE capital.
In addition to the promotional video that will be shared on ICC’s tournament broadcast and digital media channels, the trophy was also shot by UAE photographer Jorge Ferrari with the Louvre in Abu Dhabi as the background.
The trophy was also framed by the UAE flag and photographed with various lights in front of the world-famous museum.
A collaborative effort has made Abu Dhabi the center of the game starting on Sunday, October 17.
A total of 15 games will be played at the Zayed Cricket Ground in Abu Dhabi, the first of which is Ireland against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka against Namibia on Monday, October 18.
Abu Dhabi Cricket will then start the Super 12 stage as a heavyweight player in Australia and South Africa, and the Zayed Cricket Stadium will also host the first semi-final of the game on November 10.
