Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas has signed an agreement with Immersive Gamebox (IGB) to supply seven ultra-immersive interactive “gameboxes” to Magic Planet in Downtown Mirdif, Dubai and Al Zahia Downtown, Sharjah.
IGB (formerly known as Electric Gamebox) is a leading immersive gaming company that designs and develops interactive digital smart rooms called ‘Gameboxes’, each accommodating two to six players.
The platform is a new type of group entertainment, featuring cutting-edge technology including patented touchscreens, 3D motion tracking and surround sound for an ultra-immersive shared gaming experience. IGB has a growing library of licensed and original IP games created by its in-house studios. All games will be available on Magic Planet, including Alien Ability Test, Ticket to Mars, Psychedelic Mansion, James Bunny: Tropical Casino and Squid games each 60 minutes long, as well as Temple of Coins, Angry Birds, Block Smash Mania, Trivia Mash -up, each lasting 15-30 minutes, Kids’ games including Temple of Coins Junior, Tip Tap Memory Challenge and Shaun the Sheep: Championsheeps, each lasting 15-30 minutes. IGB will also provide Arabic localizations of these games.
