The president of entertainment giant Johnny & Associates Inc. has formally apologized for sexual assault allegations against its late founder Johnny Kitagawa, as former music personalities and others come forward about the allegations.
Talent agency president and niece of the former president, Julie Keiko Fujishima, issued an apology on Sunday Video and written statement on company website Respond to allegations. A month earlier, Japanese-Brazilian singer-songwriter Kauan Okamoto claimed that Kitagawa sexually abused him when he was a teenager.
