DUBAI: Kannur native and Emirati businesswoman Haseena Nishad had an unforgettable birthday thanks to fresh ideas from her children. Birthdays turned into recognition for some 50 food delivery boys as families shared gifts with them. Interestingly, the family also wants them to enjoy the food they serve.
According to Haseena’s husband Nishad Hussain, the idea of thanking the delivery boy was brought up by children Shinaz, Hamdan, Hannan and Heslin.
The siblings have already prepared a gift package, which reads: “Today is my mother’s birthday, I would like to share our happiness with you.”
On Haseena’s birthday, the family ordered around 50 food items from restaurants in Sharjah. The children welcomed the delivery man home and shared the gifts and food they brought.
It’s an unprecedented experience for most delivery guys, and based on their reactions, they cherish those moments. Some took selfies with the children and thanked their families.
At the same time, this is not the first time the business couple has engaged in novelty gestures. Last Labour Day, they selected eight outstanding employees from their roughly 7,000 employees for a Rolls-Royce tour. They were also taken to the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
