Malika Haqq says Khloe Kardashian’s “glorious days” have been taken away from her because of Tristan Thompson’s cheating.
The reality TV star and basketball player – who already has four-year-old daughter True Thompson – recently welcomed a son via surrogacy, but after an affair in March 2021, news broke that Tristan was with Maralee After Nichols had a child, they were no longer together.
Khloe’s best friend Malika, 39, said on the “Reality With The King” podcast: “I think in her situation, she’s as good as you would expect from someone. She’s not the first in a relationship. The woman who has endured adversity in the middle of the pack…but there were moments of glory that were supposed to be deprived of her, and it’s really sad.”
However, she praised Kohler, 38, for staying strong, saying: “She’s really one of the toughest people I know because she’s got a good head. Faith is another thing, she’s got a lot. I’ll tell. You are so much.
“It’s not easy. I don’t see it easy. … [But] Family is important to both of us and it’s not the same [situation as it is] when only you.
“We have these kids now…their dads are a very complicated part of their lives and they’re good dads. What happens to mothers and spouses – we can all sit here and say things that shouldn’t happen, but It does, and I think that’s when you have to remind yourself who your priorities are and these babies.”
And, an insider recently revealed that Kohler is enjoying time with his newborn son.
A source said: “Khloé and the baby are doing well. She’s ecstatic and totally into it. …Everyone is happy to have the baby home.”
