The 2022/2023 season of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour kicked off in Rio de Janeiro last July. After three days of action in Brazil, the show heads north for its second leg. The American city of Miami is the next stop.
The exciting competition begins on Saturday, August 27, 2022, with seasoned Masters competitors. The best Purple, Brown and Black Belts 30 or older will be at the Watsco Center.
AJP President His Excellency Abdulmunam Al Hashemi sent a message to all athletes at the Masters, which is always a source of excitement. The lord said, “The martial artists of the Master Division have honored and held high the banner of Jiu-Jitsu for many years. We at AJP are very proud to be able to provide them with a stage for the performing arts. Good luck to all athletes.”
Among the many talented athletes, we found several household names in parentheses. A contestant with the highest accolades on the AJP Tour over the years. The list of international champions includes technical aces such as Joao Mijao, Osvaldo Moizinho, Rio Saggioro, Ricardo Evangelista, Nicolas Ponce, Saoud Al Hammadi et al.
