The 2022 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup qualifiers will be held in Abu Dhabi from September 18 to 25. A total of eight teams will participate in the competition. Of the eight teams of Bangladesh, Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Thailand, UAE, USA and Zimbabwe, only the top two will qualify for the 2023 ICC Women’s World T20 World Cup in South Africa.

The eight teams are divided into Group A (United States, Ireland, Scotland, Bangladesh) and Group B (Thailand, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, Papua New Guinea). There will be 20 matches in this competition.

The first match of the 2022 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier will be played on September 18 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. The game will start at 4.30pm EST.

She is a talented all-rounder from Thailand. She is a right-handed batsman and a right-armed mid-range bowler. She played in 45 T20Is, scored 434 runs in 35 innings, including the best of 46, and picked 45 wickets in 40 innings, including 1 4-wicket and 1 5-wicket mouth.

Natakan Shantam:

She is Thailand’s right-handed starting batsman. In her 43 T20Is, she completed 901 runs, including four and a half centuries. She averaged 27 points and 91 from the field. She will be required to give Thailand a solid start with the bat and a platform for batsmen to follow.

Issa Osa:

She is an all-round batsman from the UAE. She is a right-handed opener and a right-arm spinner. She has hit T20I 36 times and registered 1029 times, including four and a half centuries and centuries. She holds the record for most runs (158 not out) at any batting position in the women’s T20I. With the ball, the crafty spinner had 22 wickets in 21 innings, including the best of 0/3.

Jaya Mughal:

The UAE captain is a right-handed mid-batter and a right-arm mid-range bowler. In her 38 T20I overs, she had 341 bats and 28 wickets with the ball. Her top score is 36 and her best bowling number is 4/3. She’s a great all-rounder and has been a great captain.

This will be the first women’s T20I competition to be held at this venue. Historically, wickets have looked good for batting. In men’s T20I, the highest overall score is 225 and the lowest is 66. Looking forward to a high-scoring game.
