Matt Smith hates his own indecision.
The 39-year-old actor candidly admits to being a hesitant – but Matt hopes to “cut the b******* off” in the months and years to come.
He explained: “I want to try and get rid of the b*******. Be more pointed. My dad used to tell me, ‘There are no wrong decisions. The only wrong decisions are not to decide.’ I think that’s true. of.”
Despite the indecision, Matt is clear on one issue: what he intends to do with his hair.
The actor thinks he’s lucky not to have more gray hair at his age – but he never intended to dye it.
He told Esquire: “I think I have a few years left. Then it will all pass. I won’t dye it. I’ll just let it happen.”
Matt previously played the role of Prince Philip on the Netflix hit series The Crown.
The actor – who starred alongside Claire Foy, who played Queen Elizabeth – admitted he found the late prince “a lot to celebrate”.
He said: “That’s right, as a society we celebrate Elizabeth as an example of a strong, stylish and talented woman.
“But in many ways it’s an example of what a rascal, smart guy. Why can’t we men celebrate that, fictional or not? I just found a lot to celebrate in Philip.”
Matt also saw some similarities between his real-life self and the prince, who died in April 2021 at the age of 99.
He shared: “I grew up with lads and I love the culture.
“I love the camaraderie and the way you can hurt each other and it’s still there between me and my buddies. We get together, we tear each other up, we laugh. In tearing each other up, there are some Stuff” I think it makes me happy. But at the end of the day, you have a sporting career or whatever, and I love the sense of teamwork. I think Philip likes it all too. “
